Zozanero (ライジングリッツ Raijingu Rittsu, "Rising-Ritz") is an Evolved Spectrobe of the Corona Property. It appears in Spectrobes and Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals, although it was removed for Spectrobes: Origins and replaced with Zazanero.

Appearance

Zozanero has a vaguely mammalian body, not closely resembling any real-world animal. Its head is strangely shaped, almost cuboidal, with a dark purple helmet and two small white horns. It has purple fur on its sides, fading to white in the centre, and an assortment of weapon-shaped spines on its back. It also has dark purple armour on its legs, with flame-like fur coming out the lower leg.

Webisodes

In episode 10 of the Spectrobes web series, it is shown that Rallen's Zozane has evolved into Zozanero. It and the others defeat the Krawl gathered, but against the boss Krawl it and Spikanor's attacks are useless, and they are defeated.

• Control Scheme: Menu
• Menu Commands:
  • A: 'Charge': Stands still and performs an animation, this causes the CH meter to be charged faster. Can be pushed around by Rallen or Krawl.
  • B: 'Stay': Stands still and stops following Rallen, can still be pushed by Rallen or Krawl.
  • X: 'Attack': Slides forward, strikes the enemy twice with it's legs, then springs into the air and stomps out the enemy with its hind legs.
  • Y: 'Follow': Resumes following Rallen if previously ordered to 'Stay' or 'Charge'.
• CH Attack: Quillojig (CH cost 2) - " Zozanero clad in blinding rays of light pounces furiously on his foe! "

Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals

• Normal: Lunges forward a bit, rolling into the enemy in midair.
• CH Attack: Quillojig - "Becomes engulfed in an intense aura, then rushes head first into its enemies."
