Spectrobes is a series of junior novels based upon the series of games released on Nintendo DS and Wii. The books were written by Ned Lerr and published by Disney Press. According to Disney Interactive Studios global marketing vice president Craig Relyea, the books were stated to be "the perfect first step in growing the Spectrobes franchise."[1]
Currently, the series consists of three books; a fourth book was published around the same time as the others, but was never released.
Also included in each of the books is a brief piece of Spectrobes lore, detailing the war between the Spectrobes and the Krawl.
