The fifth planet in the Nanairo system. Torn in two by the magnetic fields of its two moons.
Information[]
Ziba is a planet that is split down the middle and has two moons, the red Akaboshi and the blue Aoboshi. This is the planet where Professor Kate does her research.
In Spectrobes, Akaboshi and Aoboshi share a similar area design, with each of them mirroring the other. Both of them have what appears to be two halves of a ruined space shuttle at the furthermost depths of the moon.
In Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals, Akaboshi has a Corona property Lightning Valley, while Aoboshi has a Flash property Lightning Valley. The Lightning Valleys of the two moons are nearly identical, the only difference being the mirroring of the sections and a reversal of the order of the shape of the middle sections between the two moons. In Beyond The Portals, you come here because Professor Kate needs you to defeat Gronos for her.
Name Etymology[]
The name meaning for "Ziba" in English is contentious, either being Hebrew or Persian/Farsi in origin. It is likely mistranslated from Japanese name.
In Japanese, the name for this planet is "Jiba" which aptly means "magnetic field".
Trivia[]
- In Spectrobes, Akaboshi is stated to possess a powerful north pole magnetic field, while Aoboshi is stated to have a powerful south pole magnetic field. This does not constitute a scientific impossibility, as large and powerful magnetic mono-poles are predicted by the scientific theory that explains why electric charge is discrete.
